WELCOME! |
The Kentucky Heritage Quilt Society was founded in 1981 with the main goal of promoting all aspects of quiltmaking throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

We have grown to over 600 members and now have two auxiliaries. The Kentucky Heritage Appliqué Society (KHAS) is devoted to promoting the techniques, appreciation and preservation of hand and machine appliqué and The Quilt Artists of Kentucky (QAK) is devoted to promoting innovative quilt making techniques and the quilt as an art form.

We host many activities including our annual Getaway, Quilting Adventures, KHAS Meeting, QAK Meeting, KHQS Spring Retreat, KHQS Fall Retreat, KHAS Spring Retreat, the KHQS Annual Show and the QAK Annual Show.
