| The Kentucky Heritage Appliqué Society was formed in 1995 as
an auxiliary of the Kentucky Heritage Quilt Society. Membership in the
Appliqué Society is limited to current or new members of the Kentucky
Heritage Quilt Society. Membership dues to join the Kentucky Heritage Appliqué Society
are $5.00 per year in addition to KHQS membership dues. |

| The group’s purpose is to promote the techniques, appreciation
and preservation of hand and machine appliqué in the art of quiltmaking. |

| The Appliqué Society holds its annual meeting immediately following
the KHQS Getaway. In addition to the annual dinner, there are appliqué classes,
show and tell, block contest awards and other fun activities. |
