Marking on-the-Go! |
| |
| We're all on-the-go it seems, and while many of us have figured out how
to piece on-the-go, marking on-the-go is quite another matter. Roxanna
Rickly, of Paris, Kentucky, had acquired a ClipcaseTM just before Getaway
2001, and your Newsletter Editor saw it as a great possibility for marking
on-the-go. The ClipcaseTM by Dexas International. Inc. is a plastic clipboard
with a hinged top and a roomy 9 x 12 x 1" compartment for sandpaper,
fabric and templates. Three small sections are just right for a pencil
and a quilter's quarter-inch guide, a Dream Seamer, and perhaps a small
pad of Post-it notes (for sudden inspiration). There's a clip on the top
so you can clip your sandpaper to the top, all of which, provides a nice
rigid surface for working on that most portable surface of all-our lap!
When you're through marking, just stow everything in the case, snap the
handle shut and you are on your way! Look for your ClipcaseTM in the stationery
aisle of your favorite discount store. It is a bargain at approximately
$7.00! |
